Not That Bad Yet

Have you ever been in a slump? You feel that you could be doing more with your life but for some reason you’re stuck.

Maybe you know that you should lose some weight. Maybe you want to earn more money at your job. Maybe you just want to feel more excited about your life.

Whatever it is, you know that there is something that you should do to change.

You decide not to. You decide to stay in the rut that you are in because it’s more comfortable to stay there than it is to put forth the effort to get out of there.

You tell yourself, it’s not that bad yet, but how bad does it have to get before you decide to do something to make it better?

I’m going to talk about your health and fitness but this could apply to anything that you might want to change.

The fact is that all of us have the ability to change but in order to get to the next level we have to GET DISTURBED.

Getting Disturbed means that you are finally at the point where you just won’t take it anymore. You have had enough and you will not live like this another day.

Getting Disturbed means being completely honest with yourself.

Here are some small lies that need to be turned into honest statements before you can move forward.

“I’m just a little overweight” If you want results change this to “I’m fat and I’m going to do something about it”

“I don’t have time to workout” Change it to “I’m miserable because I’m so out of shape. I will absolutely make time for myself. I’m worth it and it will affect everything in my life in a positive way”

“I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work for me” Change to “I’ve tried some things before and they haven’t worked but I’m going to do those same things and really commit or I’m going to find something new and give it my all. I’ll make it work”

Everything we do can be changed by commitment and giving full energy to the event.

It is not O.K. to live our lives without passion and without trying for and achieving the goals that would change our lives for the better.

Taking the time to analyze what’s working and what’s not and then being honest with ourselves are two very important steps to getting what we want in life.

We have everything that we need within us now to live a remarkable life.

Enjoy the journey!
