Life Can Punch Us In The Face

There will always be challenges but our success or lack of success in life depends upon how we respond to those challenges.

We can make life even tougher by not knowing what we want. How many times have you asked a friend what their plans are and you get “I don’t know.”

Isn’t it safe to say that if we don’t know what we want or don’t work towards something specifically, that we will get whatever and that whatever might be not at all what we were hoping for.

Over time I’ve heard people say that they want to lose weight, feel more fit, have more energy, learn something new and exciting, and many other
very exciting ideas.

Even though I’ve had the good fortune of helping many people achieve their dreams and more, I’ve also had the frustration of seeing others
fall dreadfully short of their goals.

So what’s the difference between those that did and those that didn’t. There’s a few things.

#1 The people that did realize their goals made a decision to see their dreams through to the end no matter what. Oh sure, there was some pain and frustration along the way but these people decided before hand that they would keep on no matter how tough the going became.

Those who didn’t make it and quit weren’t willing to pay the price to see their goal fulfilled. They may have made it for a few weeks or even a few months but
then they let their excuses take over and they stopped fighting for the thing that could really change their lives for the better both physically, mentally, and emotionally.

#2 The people that made it had a Dedicated Focus. This means that they made a decision, had a plan, and took action. They felt so strongly that reaching this goal would be of the utmost importance and they did whatever necessary.

Those who didn’t often times become frustrated easily and have a tendency to move to the next thing before the thing that they are doing has been given a proper chance.

We get from life what we put in. Those who are willing to be uncomfortable, frustrated, feel lost at times, tired, angry, and completely out of place are those who become stronger for the effort. These people are also those who experience the most joy and success in life.

The exciting part is that we can all experience joyful, happy lives if we just take the time to accept the challenge.
